We are Chefs who like to Partie! Our company was founded by Tracy Wilk & Janie Schneider – two friends and colleagues who thought that our new world needed a new way to party. We have a combined 20 years of experience in the food, beverage and events industries and are truly passionate about hospitality. Chefs de Partie specializes in virtual, chef-led, children’s birthday parties. Because even though the world is on pause, it doesn’t mean your family’s celebrations have to be. After all, social distancing is the perfect way to virtually party with friends and family from across the globe! Let us connect with you from our homes to your kitchens. We’d love to show you just how dynamic, exciting and perfect our parties can be.
graduated from University of Central Florida and was trained by Natural Gourmet Institute. She went on to work in the James Beard award winning pastry department of ABC Kitchen, making many ice cream sundaes while filling donuts at Flex Mussels. She later became the Executive Pastry Chef at David Burke Kitchen, being recognized by FSR Magazine as 40 under 40 Rising Stars. For the past two years, Tracy has taught as the Lead Recreational Instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Most recently, Tracy started a national, grassroots movement, #BakeitForward, which began as a way for her to channel her free time during the Covid-19 crisis to give back to essential workers. Tracy has delivered hundreds of cookies, brownies and Rice Krispie treats to frontline workers in New York City. Tracy has been obsessed with food her entire life (really, ask her family!) and believes that cooking is how she connects with people. Nothing brings her more joy than hearing laughter over a shared meal, or the smile a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies brings. Tracy lives in Murray Hill and is truly amazed and proud of what comes out of her tiny, studio apartment kitchen every day.
is an events professional with over 10 years in the industry, specializing in the food & beverage sector. Originally from Miami, Janie earned her undergraduate journalism degree from the University of Florida. Janie also holds a master’s degree in food studies from New York University and is a graduate of the International Culinary Center (formerly the French Culinary Institute) in New York City. Her career in events has taken her from the James Beard Foundation to Shiraz Events and most recently to the Institute of Culinary Education. If there was ever a calling from a higher power, Janie believes hers is to work tirelessly and passionately in the food & beverage industry. Her favorite meal truly changes every second, but she will never turn down a cheeseburger, French fries (with mayonnaise!) and a bottle of Champagne. Janie lives on the Upper West Side with her husband (taste tester and biggest fan), Russell.
